Service Shade was started in 1932 and remains a local family owned business, owned by people who care about a commitment to quality and service.
Service Shade has provided window coverings for San Antonio homes, businesses, medical facilities, governmental entities, and major corporations from our southeast location for over 80 years.
Our Company mission is to provide consumers quality window coverings, whatever the style or budget. You can buy blinds with confidence at Service Shade. All of our window blinds, & shades come with a limited lifetime warranty to guarantee the workmanship of all of our window coverings! Our commitment to produce high quality window blinds and shades is the primary reason that our business has excelled to such levels.
Community Building
Over the years, Service Shade has contributed to our community by giving back to a variety of organizations and causes.
- Assisted and contributed to two separate tree planting projects sponsored by Greater Chamber of Commerce for southeast and southwest San Antonio
- Donated blinds for Rehab of City of San Antonio Parks Foundation building in Hemisphere Park sponsored by San Antonio AGC
- Donated windows treatments for Wounded Warriors new home project
- Construct a Kids Christmas annually contributed both gifts and funds
- Donated and supplied window treatments for Habitat for Humanity
- Assisted financially and in kind contribution to various schools and churches throughout San Antonio area
- Supported and contributed to KLRN Public Television
- Supported and contributed to Texas Public Radio
- Supported scholarship fund raisers for UTSA, Texas A&M San Antonio, Alamo Colleges and various other colleges and universities in San Antonio area
